Daylight, layout and building status
Show how you want light and movement to pass between the rooms. Include door positions, furniture and any features you want to retain. Check the status of the exact building and affected features before deciding on alterations; a protected setting can require additional coordination.
What to send with your enquiry
- Your address, postcode, property type and floor, with a sketch showing the desired opening.
- Available building drawings, earlier calculations and photographs from both sides of the wall. Mark uncertain details rather than guessing.
- Your preferred timing and finish, including any related kitchen, flooring or service work.
